David was born the youngest of 4 siblings and grew up on a farm in Tellico Plains. Even from the age of 9 he was interested in Architecture. Inspired by home design magazines, he drew plans for fun and the craft stuck. Graduating in 1991 with a degree in Architecture, he has worked and trained under architects in the North Georgia, Knoxville, and Chattanooga areas over 3 decades. Though originally trained in hand drafting he found his craft in CAD and the technical part of Architecture.

His other interests are Astronomy, military history, physical training, home improvements and hanging with his group of friends. He has 2 grown children and shares his home in Ringgold, Georgia with his girlfriend and her young son.
