This speculative office building previously had a brutal, uninteresting exterior with small windows and an entrance on Chestnut Street with no real sense of entry. The building basically turned inward, away from the city. Our redesign opened up the exterior facade to create more interior daylight. The installation of metal panels proved to be a vibrant facade treatment. Further, the main entrance of the 150,000-square-foot building was relocated to Fourth Street, providing activity to this once-uninviting street face. Inside, we created a two-story lobby space to further enhance the entrance and revitalize the street.
