Not only is it better for our environment, but it's also easier on our operating budgets when creating and building a new space. For example, some of our past green architecture projects feature large windows that allow sunlight to illuminate the space, rather than electrical light, and clerestories that make use of natural light even on cloudy days. Cisterns are also important components of our sustainable design architecture, as they capture rain and reuse it to flush toilets, wash cars and trucks, etc.
We’re proud to have a portfolio of projects that have attained all levels of LEED certification inlcuding Platinum, including a winner of the Green Building of America Award.
Even our buildings that don't qualify for LEED certification still make considerable efforts to be eco-friendly, and are fine examples of sustainable design in their respective neighborhoods.
We believe any space can and should consist of green architecture, and we are committed to including sustainable design in all our projects.
